The club was founded on October 5th, 1920 and has been a vibrant active club through more than 85 years of service to the Kearney area.  The club is the third chartered club in Nebraska and the 317th chartered club in the world.  The first club had 40 Charter members.

The Noon Club started a second club in Kearney on November 17th, 1978.  We named that club the Dobytown Kiwanis Club.  This club is still a very active club and is a great compliment to the Noon club.

The Club started a third club in Kearney in 1991.  On July 20th 1991 the Golden K Kiwanis was chartered.  This club is tailored towards members 55 years old and older.   This is the largest club in the Kearney area.

These three clubs have also sponsored many youth clubs in the various schools and UNK in Kearney. 

What started as a seed many years ago has grown into a tremendous group of Kiwanis organizations of all ages in Kearney, helping to serve the children of the Kearney area and the world!
